This policy explains what information X-Ray Pools ("we", "us") collects when you visit this website, contact us or use our leak detection services, and what we do with it. We collect only what we need to schedule and perform the service, send your report and get paid.
1. Information we collect
- Contact details you give us by phone, text, email or through the estimate request form on this website: your name, phone number, email address, the location of the property and what you tell us about your pool.
- Property details: the service address and information about your pool, spa and equipment.
- Inspection records: the notes, photos and underwater video we take during the inspection, and the report we prepare.
- Billing records: invoices, estimates and payment history. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not receive or store your full card number.
- Messages: calls, texts and emails you exchange with us.
- Website data: when you visit this site, our server records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working, and to block spam sent through the estimate form. This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other sites.
2. How we use it
- To schedule, perform and document your leak detection.
- To send you estimates, invoices, receipts, reminders and your report.
- To answer estimate requests and your questions, and provide support.
- To keep our records as required by law and for accounting.
- To protect our website and services against misuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for other companies' marketing.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only what each one needs:
- Our payment processor, to process card payments.
- Our email and text message providers, to deliver messages to you.
- Our hosting and database providers, which store our records securely.
We may also share information when the law requires it, or with your permission, for example when you ask us to send your report to your pool company, builder or insurer.
4. Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your appointment, invoice or report. We do not send marketing texts without your consent. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile number and text consent are never shared with third parties for their marketing.
5. How long we keep it
We keep customer, inspection and billing records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes and then deleted.
6. How we protect it
Our systems use encrypted connections, access controls and restricted accounts. Access to your records is limited to the people who need it to serve you. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.
7. Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can also opt out of text messages or emails at any time. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Children
Our services are for adults responsible for a property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
