Terms of Service

These terms apply when you book, receive or pay for a leak detection service from X-Ray Pools ("we", "us"). By scheduling a service or paying an invoice, you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, call us at (561) 563-6657 before your appointment.

1. What we do

X-Ray Pools provides pool and spa leak detection. A standard inspection may include:

Leak detection identifies whether and where water is being lost. It does not include repairs of any kind. Any repair is a separate matter between you and the contractor you choose, under their own terms.

2. Scheduling and access

You agree to give us safe access to the pool, spa and equipment area at the scheduled time, and to keep pets secured during the visit. For accurate results the pool should be filled to its normal operating level and, where we ask, the equipment should be left off before we arrive. If testing conditions can't be met on the day, we may need to reschedule, and the results may be limited.

Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or move an appointment.

3. Estimates and payment

Prices are confirmed before the service. Pricing can vary with the size of the pool, the equipment and the conditions we find on site. Payment is due as stated on your invoice. Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.

The written report is delivered once payment has been confirmed.

4. Our findings

Our report records what we observed and tested on the date of the inspection. Our inspection confirms whether a leak or broken pipe is present. The precise location of a broken underground pipe is not part of the report and can only be determined when the line is opened. Only one break per plumbing line can be located at a time, and further testing may be needed after each repair.

Conditions change. New leaks can appear after our visit, and a leak detection cannot guarantee that no other fault exists. If you continue to lose water after repairs are completed, a new leak detection may be required at an additional cost.

5. Fittings and components

Testing can require us to remove items such as main drain covers and return fittings. Older components may break on removal because of deterioration. We are not responsible for replacing parts that break for this reason, but we can supply new parts at an added cost.

6. Other contractors

If you or another contractor rely on our marks, notes or report to carry out work, you accept the risk of that work. We are not liable for errors, inaccuracies or damage caused by work performed by others.

7. Photos and video

We take photos and video of your pool, spa and equipment during the inspection to document our findings. They are part of your report and are kept with your records. We will not use images of your property in our marketing without your permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Florida law, our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including water or utility costs, or loss of use of the pool.

9. Communications

By giving us your phone number and email, you agree that we may contact you about your appointment, your invoice and your report by call, text message or email. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text to opt out of text messages.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of the county where the service was performed.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect on the date you book a service is the one that applies to that service.
